Goose Fat
A versatile cooking medium that enhances flavour. Goose and duck fats have high smoking points that make them ideal for cooking at high temperatures.
Can be used for basting roast poultry dishes, adds flavour when used to bind stuffings and makes the ultimate roast potatoes. The key to roast potatoes that are crispy on the outside and light and fluffy in the centre is cooking them in a realy hot oven. Goose and duck fats are the perfect cooking medium for the job. Although unopened goose fat can be stored at room temperature, we recommend storing it in the fridge to prevent separation that can occur in its liquid state.
