French Toast


Use Mascarpaone and Amaretto Sauce to turn a simple breakfast food into a decadent dessert.

French Toast

Method

  1. Pour the contents of the jar of Epicure Mascarpone & Amaretto into a flat bottomed dish and mix with the milk to thin the mixture slightly. 
  2. Dip each slice of bread into the sauce and allow to soak up some of the sauce.
  3. Melt the butter in a hot pan and fry bread on both sides until golden. 
  4. Dust with a little icing sugar and serve with berries and whipped cream.

Ingredients


4 slices thick white bread crusts removed
1 jar Epicure Mascarpone & Amaretto Sauce
2 tbsp of milk
Butter for frying

To serve
Selection of seasonal berries
Icing sugar to dust over
