Vanilla and Coconut Baked Apples with Toffee Sauce


Delicious, quick to prepare.  The ultimate toffee apples for grown ups.

Baked Apple

Method

  1. Combine the coconut, flour, butter and sugar in a bowl and mix well. 
  2. Core each apple and fill the centre with the coconut filling.
  3. Finish by sticking a vanilla pod piece into the top of the filling of each apple and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C. 
  4. Drizzle Epicure Muscovado Toffee Sauce liberally over the baked apple before serving. 

Ingredients


4 large apples
8oz desiccated coconut
2tbsp flour
4oz butter
4oz demerara sugar
1 vanilla bean pod cut into four
1 jar of Epicure Muscovado Toffee Sauce
