- 2 thick slices sourdough
- 100g mature cheddar, grated
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Epicure Chakalaka Pesto
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoons milk

Preheat grill to a high heat. Line a baking tray with foil. Arrange the sourdough on top and put under the grill for a minute or so until toasted, watching it closely so it doesn’t burn. Remove and let cool while you prepare the topping.

Mix together grated cheddar, Worcestershire, pesto, egg yolk, and milk with a fork until evenly combined.

Once the bread has cooled, flip it over and spread the cheese mixture over the untoasted side, dividing equally between the two toasts. Pop back under the grill until cheese is bubbly and golden, about 4-7 minutes.

Serve warm with some crunchy veggies on the side.
