Three Ways with Garlic V

Our Sweet Roasted Garlic Puree makes quick work of adding flavour to many dishes. Here, we’ve used them to flavour some steamed green beans, perk up a soy dipping sauce, and to make a crispy garlic bread.

    Garlicky Steamed Green Beans

    Prep: 5 min. Cook: 10 min. Makes: 4 servings. Steam 350g green beans for 7 minutes, or until crisp tender. Drain then tip into a bowl and add 15g Epicure Clarified Butter, 1-2 teaspoon Epicure Sweet Roasted Garlic Puree, a pinch of chili flakes, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Toss well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Cheesy Garlic Bread

    Prep: 5 min. Cook: 5 min. Split 1 loaf ciabatta in half lengthwise. Heat grill to high. Melt 50g butter and 1 tablespoon Epicure Sweet Roasted Garlic Puree in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Drizzle over cut sides of bread. Sprinkle over 75g mature cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Pop under the grill for 3-4 min. until golden and bubbly. Sprinkle with a handful chopped parsley before serving.

    Soy Dipping Sauce

    Prep: 5 min. Makes: 3 oz. In a small bowl mix together 50ml light soy sauce, 25ml rice wine vinegar, and 1 teaspoon each Epicure Sweet Roasted Garlic Puree, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Use as a dip for dumplings, egg rolls, spring rolls, or whatever you like.
