BBQ Meatball Kabobs DF

These BBQ meatballs have a sweet and savoury flavour thanks to caramelized onion sausages and smoky barbecue sauce. 


  • 250g minced beef, 5% fat
  • 3 caramelized onion sausages
  • 1 egg
  • 70g panko breadcrumbs
  • 1.5 teaspoons fine salt
  • Smoky barbecue sauce

    Mix together beef, sausage, egg, breadcrumbs, and salt. Divide into 16. And roll into balls. Thread meatballs onto skewers, leaving a little gap between each.

    Heat a barbecue or grill pan over medium heat. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, turning a quarter turn each time (12-16 min. total). Once all sides are caramelized, brush meatballs with barbecue sauce on all sides and continue cooking just until cooked through. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with additional barbecue sauce for dipping.
