Peach Oat Crumble V

Silky tinned peaches topped with a crispy oat topping – superb with a scoop of ice cream. Keep these ingredients on hand for a scrumptious dessert that can be made any time of year.

  • 2 tins Epicure Peach Slices in Fruit Juice/Syrup, drained
  • 35g plain flour
  • 25g oats
  • 50g light brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 35g unsalted butter, room temp

    Preheat oven to 180ºC, Gas Mark 4.

    Tip the drained peach slices into a 22cm round baking dish.

    In a medium bowl add the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and butter. Squeeze with your fingertips until the butter is evenly distributed and the mixture clumps together easily. Crumble evenly over the peaches.

    Pop in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is crisp and golden and the filling is bubbly.

    Serve warm or at room temperature.
